Dahab, en la cuna de la civilización.

Right now I am in Dahab, a wonderful town on the Sinai Peninsula, Egypt. Not the best time to visit, but was now or never and I've been wanting to visit this site. So far we sailed 50-60% of the days with strong wind usually, almost always using my Severne S-1 in 4.0 or 4.3 and Flare 88. The contrast with the turquoise water beast with the rocky red mountains creating a backdrop of the most special to enjoy the wind. Now let´s enjoy the last days. I return to Spain on March 21 and then ... Maui! Cool!!

Ahora mismo me encuentro en Dahab, un maravilloso pueblo en la península de Sinai, Egipto. No es la mejor época para venir, pero era ahora o nunca y llevo años queriendo conocer este sitio. Hasta ahora habremos navegado el 50-60 % de los días con viento generalmente fuerte, usando casi siempre mi Severne S-1 en 4,0 o 4,3 y la Flare 88. El agua turquesa contrasta a lo bestia con las rocosas montañas rojizas creando un escenario de lo más especial para disfrutar del wind. Ahora a aprovechar al máximo los últimos días. Vuelvo a España el 21 de Marzo y después... a Maui!!! Que ganas!!!

IFCA FREESTYLE WORLD CHAMPION!!!

From 19 to 23 December was celebrated on the paradise beach of Icarai da Montada state of Ceará (Brazil) World Championship Freestyle IFCA. AND WON! Wuuhhhuuu! Still can not believe it! The competition was fantastic, the organization 10 and the excellent conditions for freestyle: A reef with perfect waves for "Aereal Moves" and a flat water bay to do nice tricks infront of the judges. I'm SUPER HAPPY! Many thanks to my sponsors for their support and confidence!

Del 19 al 23 de Diciembre se celebró en la paradisíaca playa de Icaraí de Montada del estado de Ceará (Brasil) el Campeonato del Mundo de Freestyle IFCA. Y GANE!!! Wuuhhhuuu!!! Aún no me lo creo!! La competición fue fantástica, la organización un 10 y las condiciones excelentes para freestyle: Un reef con olas perfectas para "Aereal Moves" y una bahía de agua plana para ejecutar trucazos frente a los jueces. ¡¡¡Estoy SUPER FELIZ!!! Después de navegar durante todo el día, cuando ya crees que no puedes más, la playa de Jeri va y te tienta con una juguetona ola de un metrillo bajo una espectacular puesta de sol... quien se puede resistir a eso!!! Después un bañito en la piscina, una deliciosa cena a base de pescado fresco y para rematar una caipirinha bajo las estrellas con la mejor compañía! Mañana más...
